Entrepreneurship event and competition for young people
Uskalla Yrittää is the most notable entrepreneurship event and competition for young people in Finland. The event has been designed for students participating in the JA Company Program.
The set of Uskalla Yrittää events will be organized again in the spring of 2024. The regional events will be held across Finland in February and March 2024. The competition culminate in the finals held in Helsinki in April.
Regional events
All learners participating in the JA Company program during the current academic year can register for the Uskalla Yrittää events and competition. In the regional events, young people will have the opportunity to present their products and services and compete for the prizes of different categories and a place in the finals of the national Uskalla Yrittää competition.
The regional events will be held across Finland during weeks 8–10 in 2024. More information coming soon!
Uskalla Yrittää finals
Finland’s most significant entrepreneurship competition for young people culminates in the finals in April in Helsinki. The event gathers hundreds of young people from all over Finland to present their products and services to the competition’s jury and the shopping center’s customers. The event offers the young people memorable learning experiences!
In the finals, young entrepreneurs are awarded in several different categories. The best JA companies are selected to represent Finland in the European Championship and Gen-E event to be held in the Summer of 2024.
Best JA Companies to represent Finland in European Championships
Gen-E is Europe’s largest entrepreneurship event for young people. Thousands of young entrepreneurs, 15 years old onwards, will showcase their cutting–edge business ideas and will be competing for the titles of best JA Company and best JA Start-Up of the year awards.
National winners of Uskalla Yrittää final in those categories will be representing Finland in Gen-E on July.
Gen-E Event is organised by JA Europe, continent’s leader in entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial health programmes for youth.
