Duunikoutsi has been developed in collaboration with The Ministry of Education and Culture, Confederation of Finnish Industries, and The Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions. It gives young people concrete advice on job search and accumulating working life skills. For example, it provides a pre-filled skills-based CV, and Duunikoutsi exercises help to prepare for a job interview. Self-knowledge, as an important future working life skill, is practiced with the help of Duunikoutsi. Young people will learn, for example, how to recognize and present their strengths and skills.

 

Duunikoutsi self-study materials

The purpose of the Duunikoutsi self-study material is to support the young person using Duunikoutsi and it contains the most relevant exercises related to job search. Additionally, the material helps the young person with writing a CV using Duunikoutsi’s CV-machine. The CV-machine creates a pre-filled skills-based CV with just a few clicks. 

After completing the self-study material, the young person is more prepared for their job search. 

Self-study materials have been created as a part of the Digital coaching service improves adolescents’ working-life skills project.

Duunikoutsi self-study material for job search (other languages)

We want to provide information about working life and the tools for job search for as many young people as possible. This is why we are offering Duunikoutsi in several languages. 

The language versions in Somali, Russian, and Arabic have been created in a way that combines Easy Finnish with the other language. This has been done in order to support the learning of the Finnish language. These versions have key words translated in the selected language while the rest of the content is in Easy Finnish. The self-study material is completely translated in Somali, Arabic, and Russian, which helps with the use of Duunikoutsi and assists with the learning process.
