Järvelä served as the CEO of Economy and youth TAT from the beginning of 2020. After Economy and youth TAT and Junior Achievement Finland combined their operations, Järvelä was appointed CEO of the newly formed association, JA Finland, in June 2023.

“Over the past five years, TAT and JA Finland have undergone major changes, which have been successful. I am very pleased that I have been able to make this change together with the boards that are forward-looking and have enabled the merger, as well as with JA Finland’s expert management and personnel. The work to strengthen the working life and entrepreneurial and economic skills of children and young people is really meaningful and important. It has been a privilege to do this work”, says Jenni Järvelä.

“On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I would like to thank Jenni Järvelä for her term as CEO. With her determined leadership, JA Finland has combined two organisational cultures and successfully implemented the organisation’s new strategy. JA Finland is stable and, in many ways, a pioneer as an advocate for the financial skills and entrepreneurship of children and young people. I wish Jenni all the best in her new position”, says Chairman of the Board Petri Lempiäinen.

The search for a new CEO will start soon. Jenni Järvelä will continue in this position until the end of January.
